The Liquor Store

What happens when you combine an entrepreneurial couple, an abandoned liquor store and nine successful business women? One heck of a fun and tasty new restaurant! The 1600 sq ft. space located at 2655 Broad Avenue in the Broad Avenue Arts District opened at the end of 2017 with a menu ranging from old diner classics and a few Latin-inspired dishes.

The concept takes a fresh approach to casual dining with a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Working alongside interior designer, Natalie Lieberman, and partner Lisa Toro we look to convert the old building that used to be an actual liquor store and transform it into a dining destination for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.

With such a refreshing and fun concept Bending Neon went to work looking to capture and further develop a vibe like no other in the resurgent Binghampton neighborhood.

For The Liquor Store, Bending Neon developed the name and brand voice as well as all aspects of branding. But the part we really loved to be involved in was the creation and delivery of the floral pattern seen on the bar counter and tables.

A patio expansion is currently in the works for the Spring.
